Autotality recently completed a Car-O-Liner Point-X delivery and hands-on training to well-known collision repair center in Oxford, North Carolina, just north of the Raleigh–Durham market. This project focused on equipping the shop with fast, accurate diagnostic frame measuring tools while ensuring the team was confident using the system in real-world repair scenarios.
Project Overview
Project: Collision Center Point-X Delivery and Training
Location: Oxford, NC
Work Performed: Equipment delivery, setup, and hands-on operator training
System Installed: Car-O-Liner Point-X Measuring System
The project was led by Autotality installer Seth Lytle, our December 2025 employee of the month, with on-site support and training provided to ensure the system was ready for immediate use on active collision repairs.

Scope of Work
The Autotality team delivered and set up a Car-O-Liner Point-X measuring system, then provided hands-on training to the shop’s technicians and leadership team. The focus of the training was practical, real-world use, showing how the Point-X system can be used quickly during vehicle teardown and pre-repair inspections.
During the training session, we demonstrated the system using the Point-X extension to measure from shock tower to shock tower. This allowed the team to perform a fast tram measurement under the hood, confirming whether any hidden structural damage was present before repairs continued.
Why Point-X Matters in Collision Repair
Modern collision repairs demand speed, accuracy, and documentation in order to provide accurate results and meet the OEM standards for collision repair. The Point-X system gives shops a fast way to confirm structural integrity without slowing down production. For shops handling late-model vehicles, this type of computerized measurement is essential for validating your repair process and identifying damage that may not be visible during initial inspections.
As part of Autotality’s broader offering of collision repair equipment, Point-X fits perfectly into shops that need quick, repeatable measurements without committing to longer setup times associated with full structural frame measuring sessions.
Training That Goes Beyond Installation
Autotality’s approach goes beyond equipment delivery. Each installation includes iCar certified training tailored to how the shop actually works and the equipment they use. By walking through live measurements and common use cases, the collision shop left the session ready to integrate Point-X into daily repair workflows.
This project builds on Autotality’s experience delivering and training advanced computerized frame measurement tools across the Southeast, ensuring shops maximize the value of their investment from day one.
The Result
Breedlove Collision now has a fully operational Point-X measuring system and a trained team capable of quickly verifying structural measurements, identifying hidden damage, and supporting accurate repair decisions. The system is already being used as part of the shop’s under-hood inspections and pre-repair verification process.
