Autotality is seeking an experienced technical professional to serve as a paint booth installation technician and join its growing team of experienced professionals in South Florida. Current or past training and experience as an electrician, HVAC technician, plumber, welder, automotive, or similar technical field is preferred. Automotive experience and/or experience in servicing paint booths is a benefit, but not required.
Qualifications:
- Experience in ONE of the following fields is preferred: electrician, HVAC, plumber, welder, mechanic, automotive technician, construction, or similar mechanical experience
- Formal training in chosen technical profession is strongly preferred
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and work hard is a must
- Must be good in a customer facing role
- Must work well in a team environment
- Must have good driving record
- Must be willing to travel up to 75%. Some overnight work may be required.
- Must have valid driver’s license
- Must be able to pass criminal background check
- Must be able to pass drug screening
- Must possess the ability to operate a tablet

Autotality is seeking a manager or director level hire to lead our growing automotive repair equipment field service and maintenance teams to success. This role will manage a technical field team that spans across the southeast. Our customers include body shops, tire stores, and automotive dealerships. With all the tools to succeed in place, the role will be responsible for growing service and maintenance revenue and profitability while providing a customer-centric level of customer support and service. A sense of urgency in resolving customer issues is imperative.
This role will primarily focus on paint booth service and maintenance teams initially, with an opportunity to expand over service operations organization-wide.
Communication and organization ability is vital, and a willingness to get your hands dirty when needed is required. This is a senior-level position with the opportunity to make an immediate impact on a high-growth company. For the right individual, this role has significant growth potential.
Key responsibilities for this role include:
- Manage field service team to provide optimum customer services.
- Develop workflow and efficient scheduling for the field service team.
- Assist in goal setting, skill enhancement and performance reviews activities for field service staff.
- Investigate and resolve any issues resulting from substandard performance.
- Ensure company policies and procedures are followed by the team members.
- Provide training to service staff as needed.
- Provide support and guidance to service staff to ensure timely and quality customer services.
- Develop programs to improve technical and customer service skills of service staff.
- Address customer enquiries, resolve issues, and obtain customer feedback proactively.
- Identify and resolve employee concerns/complaints.
- Maintain positive and healthy relationships with various teams to ensure customer service effectiveness.
- Support service teams in achievement of service goals.
- Assist in interviewing and hiring new professionals.
- Ensure that the resources are properly trained to meet service objectives.
- Take responsibility for efficient ordering and inventory management.
- Demonstrate outstanding customer service through maintenance of high quality and integrity at work.
Qualifications:
- A deep knowledge of field service operations
- Ability to manage teams of 15+ remote technicians
- Professional communication skills and a customer-centric attitude (customer service ability is vital!)
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and work hard is a must
- Must be good in a customer facing role
- Must work well in a team environment
- Must have good driving record
- Must be willing to travel up to %. Some overnight work may be required.
- Must have valid driver’s license
- Must be able to pass criminal background check
- Must be able to pass drug screening
- Must possess the ability to operate a tablet
- Minimum 2 years management preferred
- Required travel – 25% (Preferred)
